Abe's Farm Pampanga

Once in a while, it is comforting to know that there are places not too far from manila where one can acquire peace and serenity. There's nothing like acquiring that deep sense of relaxation without the hindrance of technology.

The road to Abe's farm can be quite tricky, but as long as you have google maps and a good sense of  hospitality, you will be right on it. Kapampangans are very friendly and hospitable, so asking around would be a breeze, plus it is the only way you'll get by.

The moment I stepped foot at the farm, I knew right there and then that it would be one of the most serene days I would have in the longest time. All I could see were different shades of green. There was barely signal there. To some people, it might be a curse or a burden but I saw it as a blessing as I was able to reflect and enjoy each and every moment of my stay.

Abe's farm reminds me of a traditional Filipino home. It's mainly built from wood, stone and other Native Filipino materials.

It is nice to be able to relive "what used to be", as most houses now are very modern and futuristic.

We stayed at the Regular Room for 3,200php with breakfast, welcome drink, cold towel, airconditioning , coffee, tea, bottled water, soap and towel. WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR?!

If you feel reliving a truly traditional Filipino home then you must try their Ifugao huts for 2,990-4,500php. If you'll come to Abe's farm with the entire gang, then you might want to stay at their Family Suite starting at 6,000-15,000php.

Accomodation also includes free use of Swimming pool , Ping Pong table, Open half court for basketball and badminton, and Board games

Abe's Farm is known not just for their astounding scene and setting. The farm is also famous for their irresistable Filipino Food! Eating at their restaurant during our entire stay completed my Traditional Filipino experience.

One of the meals that I would highly recommend would be the Dilis Rice. I, myself do not enjoy eating rice on its own. But Abe's Farm's Dilis rice is to die for! You cannot miss out on that! Your stay would not be complete without it!

At the end of a long day, you can opt to go to a spa to get a soothing massage!

A museum is secretly located within the farm. I was surprised to find out that such place even existed in this area. It's called E.Aguilar Cruz Museum.

In the museum, you would find various artworks from Aguilar. These works of art are truly amazing. It makes me proud to be a Filipino.

A part of the museum would even showcase love letters Aguilar wrote for a certain girl. Going around the museum would give us an imprint of how wonderful life truly is.
